New booster plan in time for winter
From 1 March the Pfizer bivalent vaccine will replace the existing booster. From 1 April, an additional booster will be available for those eligible.
You can get an extra booster dose if you are aged 30 or over or if you are at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19. Boosters use the Pfizer BA.4/5 bivalent vaccine.

Tamariki aged 6 months to 4 years who are immunocompromised or have multiple or complex health conditions are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.
