You are a Household Contact if you live with someone who is has tested positive for COVID-19.
If you live with someone who is waiting for a COVID-19 test result
You do not need to self-isolate if you are living with someone who is waiting for a COVID-19 test result.
Take common-sense precautions to limit contact with the person until they receive their test result. Monitor yourself for symptoms and get a test if you develop any.
If the person receives a positive COVID-19 test result, follow the guidance for Household Contacts.
If you live with a Close Contact
You do not need to self-isolate if you live with a Close Contact.
Monitor yourself for symptoms, and if they develop, get a test.
