Northland case of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health is investigating a positive case of COVID-19 detected in Northland that is linked to a managed isolation facility.

Latest information

The positive COVID-19 case recently completed their stay in Auckland managed isolation facility, The Pullman Hotel. After returning 2 negative tests on 2 and 10 January, the case met the requirements for release and returned home to the Northland region on 13 January.

  • your general practice (GP) — call ahead before you turn up
  • a Community Testing Centre.

Northland health officials are working to provide additional testing in the area.
