People most at risk of influenza should get immunised first

To look after our community and make sure our health system is there for those who need it most, we all need to look after our vulnerable populations.

One way to do this is to make sure those most at risk of influenza, get immunised first.

Get vaccinated against influenza early if you are one of these priority groups:

  • People aged 65 and over.
  • Pregnant women.
  • People with a serious health condition such as severe asthma, diabetes, cancer, or heart disease, and young children with a history of severe respiratory illness.
