Latest update — 20 September 2021

  • Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 at 11:59pm, Tuesday 21 September.
  • The rest of New Zealand will remain at Alert Level 2.
  • From 11:59pm on Tuesday 21 September, the indoor gathering limits will increase to 100 people in Alert Level 2 areas. Outdoor gathering limits remain at 100 people, and do not change.

About this tool

The actions apply to most people, but there may be some exceptions. Some people who have a disability or health condition may not be able to wear a face covering safely or comfortably.
