Services and support available to you

It is OK to ask for help. As we work through this together, there are people and agencies able to support you. Here is a range of advice, help, or support if you need it.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms

The COVID-19 Healthline kaimahi support people with information and advice about COVID-19. This includes clinical advice about symptoms and non-clinical advice about testing locations.

For any other health concerns, call the general Healthline number on 0800 611 116. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Wellbeing helplines and support

If you feel you are not coping, or you have concerns for others, it is important to talk with a Health professional. The following helplines are available for people needing help.

Communication and language support

Get support if you need an interpreter, or are deaf, hearing impaired, Deafblind or speech impaired.

Employment support and services

Support if you are seeking a job, or if you want to know your rights as an employee and keep yourself safe. 

Financial support

There may be support available for employers, employees and those who have lost their job or had their income reduced, or assistance to buy food.
